ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Mando, a consultant, blogger, podcaster and author. I am a Scrum Master and PMP Certified Professional with over 10 years in practice, helping organizations improve their CX / UX / VoC capabilities across diverse industries from small to mid-sized and Fortune 500 companies.

I'm also the creator of "The Lion & The Duck", a personal brand that reflects my vision of leadership and life.

In my Latin heritage, we have spirit animals called Alebrijes. These manifest from our Tona`, our spirit guide chosen at birth. As I reflected on the type of leader I wanted to become, I had a vision of a Lion and a Duck. The Lion, standing tall and proud, representing the strength of a leader, being brave, devoted and loyal to their pride. The Duck, paddling hard beneath the surface, represents the calmness through adversity and grit that one must have in life.

Recognizing that leadership was a balance of the two,

"The Lion & The Duck" persona was born!

Today, I use this story to help others find their Alebrijes, so that they can share their leadership journey.

I believe in maintaining a positive mindset, creating partnerships and always striving to be a bold leader who shows compassion and is authentic. When you work with me, you should expect to see my core values inspire your organization to reach infinite levels of success!
